The beginning of summer traditionally opens more opportunities for students and young people to find employment. In 2026, the number of job vacancies for candidates without experience remains record high, and employers are willing to offer salaries of up to 60 thousand UAH per month. The highest demand is observed in the fields of trade, logistics, service, and construction. This is reported by 24 Channel.

Jobs for students: who is most often sought after in summer

According to staffing platforms, almost a quarter of all vacancies in Ukraine are suitable for students, and almost half of employers are willing to consider candidates without work experience.

Young people are most often offered jobs as:

• salespeople;
• couriers;
• baristas;
• waiters;
• packers;
• loaders;
• promoters;
• camp counselors.

Summer also sees an increase in demand for workers in the tourism sector, hospitality industry, agriculture, and logistics.

Experts explain that companies actively attract students to cover seasonal staff shortages and form a future talent pool.

Where the highest salaries are during summer vacations

The highest salaries among seasonal vacancies are offered in construction, the transportation sector, and certain manual labor professions.

According to Work.ua, cooks can earn up to 60,000 UAH per month. Camp counselors are offered from 10,000 to 30,000 UAH, and packers from 20,000 to 40,000 UAH.

Among popular vacancies, the following stand out:

• builders — up to 45,000 UAH;
• couriers — up to 40,000 UAH;
• warehouse workers — up to 37,500 UAH;
• drivers — up to 32,500 UAH;
• tractor drivers — up to 38,800 UAH;
• tire fitters — up to 38,100 UAH.

Why employers are actively seeking young people

According to labor market estimates, more than 78% of Ukrainian employers are experiencing staff shortages. As a result, companies are forced to increase salaries and improve working conditions to attract new employees.

The labor shortage is especially acute in logistics, production, construction, and the agricultural sector. That is why summer vacations have become an opportunity for many students not only to earn money but also to gain their first professional experience.
