Sumy Theatre in Lviv: a performance about frontline life gathered fewer viewers than actors

Актори з Сумського театру влаштували виставу про повсякденність на фронті, проте глядачів було менше, ніж учасників.

A very interesting performance about life in the frontline zone took place in Lviv, where the actors of the Sumy Academic Theatre for Children and Youth performed before an almost empty hall. This news was shared by the director of the charitable foundation 'Lemberg Volunteers' Svitlana Nagorna-Hordiichuk.

According to her, fewer viewers came to the performance yesterday than there were actors.

Nagorna-Hordiichuk also mentioned that today there will be two performances at the theatre - at 15:00 and 18:00 at the House of Culture named after Hnat Khotkevych. At 18:00, there is a planned showing of the drama 'The Sinner' based on the works of Lesya Ukrainka. She called on everyone who has the opportunity to attend these events.

In other news, People's Artist of Ukraine Larysa Kadyrova criticized director Ivan Uryvskyi, spoke about her split from Russian colleagues, and shared her thoughts on Tchaikovsky.

A bright performance about life in the frontline zone in Lviv leaves a mark in memory, as well as draws the audience's attention to the topic of war and the exacerbation of national issues. The actions of volunteers and actors trying to convey important stories to the audience emphasize the significance of cultural events in modern Ukrainian society.
