The rapid development of solar energy in Europe is creating problems for the outdated power grid, which was not prepared for such a change. Operators of European energy systems acknowledge that they lack the means to effectively manage the large amounts of solar energy. This could lead to serious consequences, such as widespread power outages.

Experts note that there are already issues with voltage regulation in power grids. A record number of cases have been recorded where voltage exceeded permitted limits. This can lead to power station shutdowns, voltage spikes, and network failures, as has already happened in Spain.

The development of solar energy in Europe has become a source of problems for the outdated power grid, which is not ready for such changes. Experts warn of potential serious consequences, such as widespread power outages and problems with voltage regulation in power grids. Urgent measures are needed to improve infrastructure and manage the energy system in Europe.
