The launch of this campaign marks a critical step toward improving the lives of children who cannot be raised in traditional family environments. This type of international cooperation highlights the growing global focus on child welfare in Ukraine and a commitment to providing these young people with proper support and development opportunities. Mentorship is widely recognized as a powerful tool for helping vulnerable youth adapt and integrate into society, which can pave the way for a more successful future. For context, mentorship programs connect children with stable, caring adults who provide guidance and support, a need that has become even more urgent due to the ongoing conflict in the region.

As the national mentorship campaign unfolds, it aligns with Ukraine's recent legislative advancements in child support, notably the adoption of the new mentorship law. This landmark legislation is designed to enhance the support framework for teenagers, ensuring that young individuals in care receive the guidance they need to thrive in society. Together, these initiatives signify a robust commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable youth across the country.
