Putin Threatens the West with Ultimatums

Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued threats to the West, stating that no foreign troops, including peacekeepers, should appear on Ukrainian territory. Officials and businessmen greeted this statement with applause, which raised concerns among journalists.

'If any troops appear there, especially now, when hostilities are ongoing, we will assume they will become legitimate targets for destruction'

The Kremlin dismissed any Western plans for guarantees for Kyiv and warned that without agreement from Moscow, no deals would exist. Putin also stated that he is only ready to meet with the Ukrainian president in Moscow, considering it a 'hero city.'

Ukraine and Russia Are Moving on Different Paths

At the same time, the Russian president stated that Russia will achieve all its goals if Ukraine does not make concessions. The Kremlin believes that their troops have an advantage on the front and support from other countries allows them to feel not in international isolation.

'Trump did not fulfill his threats - and it is yet another reason for Russia's confidence'

For Ukraine and its partners, it is important to stop hostilities and provide security guarantees, while for the Kremlin, winning the war and creating a new world order controlled by Moscow is a priority.

Cooperation and conflict between Russia and Ukraine continue to shape the geopolitical situation in the region, leaving serious consequences for both countries and the international community as a whole.
