Experts from the Consumer Expertise Institute conducted another inspection of gas stations to determine whether drivers are truly receiving the fuel they pay for. Last year, most of the inspected stations were 'guilty' of short delivery. Has the situation changed now? Detailed results were published in the TSN material.

The inspection was conducted across 16 networks: including premium brands AMIC, OKKO, UPG, KLO, PARALLEL, and discount stations AVANTAGE 7, MARSHALL, BVS, BRSM-NAFTA, OVIS, EURO 5, as well as some standalone gas stations. The results were shocking again - short delivery was detected in nine cases out of sixteen, and in some networks, it exceeded the norm by ten times.

Experts divided the gas stations into two zones:
In the green zone:

  • AMIC and PARALLEL - no short delivery;

  • KLO - 0.05% (3 kopecks/l);

  • AVANTAGE 7 - 0.10% (5 kopecks/l);

  • OKKO and MARSHALL - within the norm.

In the red zone were BVS, BRSM-NAFTA, OVIS (Kharkiv), EURO 5 (Zaporizhzhia), and a number of small local gas stations. EURO 5 set a record - minus 5% or 2.37 UAH on each liter. In second place - OVIS (-1.32 UAH/l), followed by BRSM-NAFTA (-1.23 UAH/l).

According to the director of the Institute, Yuriy Chornobryvets, experts expected even worse results:

«Some large networks continue to systematically short delivery of fuel to keep prices lower. And until there are penalties from controlling authorities, the situation will not change».
