Investigation into Illegal Sale of Naval Base Concludes
Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) have finalized their criminal investigation into the unlawful sale of a naval base in the port of Chornomorsk. While 11.5 million hryvnias from the sale were deposited into the state enterprise's account, these funds were then transferred to a controlled company. This transfer was falsely justified as payment for servicing the vessels *Henichesk* and *Khersones*, which were actually in India at the time. The investigation revealed the company had no involvement in servicing those ships.
