The Russian army uses NATO tactics - Roman Kostenko
In the program 'The Tuzov's Move', serviceman and member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Roman Kostenko stated that the Russian army is using NATO tactics on the front, which have brought them success. He pointed out that the occupiers infiltrate behind the front line in small groups and try to establish themselves between the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
'Russians are using small group tactics to infiltrate, accumulate, hold the defense and consolidate. This tactic is quite effective since there are often gaps in the defense where the enemy can penetrate,' the MP explained.
'Earlier, the Russians attacked along a wide line, breaking through the front using equipment, but now they are using a different tactic'
Kostenko also noted that the Ukrainian military continues to eliminate Russian occupiers who found themselves surrounded in the area of Dobropillya in the Donetsk region.
During his speech on the program 'The Tuzov's Move', Roman Kostenko emphasized that the Russian army is using new tactics on the front, similar to NATO methods, which is a challenge for the Ukrainian troops. Active advancement in small groups and constant convenience of fortifications have been highlighted as key strategies of the enemy.
