Attack on Nova Poshta Depot in Kharkiv
On the night of June 8, a Russian drone struck the roof of Nova Poshta's Depot No. 5 in Kharkiv, sparking a fire and causing partial structural collapse. The depot was not operational at the time of the attack, but 363 parcels with a total declared value of approximately 1 million Ukrainian hryvnias were inside. No employees were injured in the incident.
Emergency teams from Ukraine's State Emergency Service (DSNS) and other first responders arrived quickly on site. Nova Poshta has announced it will compensate customers for the declared value of all damaged shipments. The company also maintains backup logistics routes and business continuity plans, allowing it to continue delivery services even under challenging conditions.
Strike on Ukrposhta Hub
On the same day, a Russian Shahed drone hit a Ukrposhta sorting hub in Kharkiv. Ukrposhta's CEO stated:
“Our team has been working since the night to ensure parcels are delivered as promptly as possible, and deliveries in Kharkiv will resume today. We will fully compensate all customers whose parcels were destroyed.”
Customers can track their shipments in real time via the Nova Poshta mobile app and website.

Both Nova Poshta and Ukrposhta have demonstrated their ability to respond swiftly to emergencies, offering compensation and ensuring service continuity. Their actions reflect a strong commitment to customer support and operational resilience during times of crisis.
