In Novovolynsk, residents can now purchase a subscription for public transport and save on each trip. This was reported by the city mayor, Boris Karpus, noting that the travel package can be purchased on the existing City Card. This is reported by 'Konkurrent Volyn'.
Terms and Prices
The subscription allows you to buy trips at a discounted price. Two options are available:
-
50 trips for 600 UAH (12 UAH per trip), validity period — 90 days
-
100 trips for 1100 UAH (11 UAH per trip), validity period — 180 days.
Purchases are made on the existing plastic City Card. This allows avoiding additional paperwork or new carriers.
The mayor emphasized that the introduction of subscriptions is part of the digitization and modernization of the transport system, aimed at making trips more accessible for residents.
How to Pay
You can pay for the subscription in two ways:
-
through a terminal at the social policy department (you need to select the function 'City Card Subscription')
-
by bank transfer — details are provided on the City Card hotline (the number is indicated on the back of the card).
This format allows flexible use of transport, planning expenses and saving on regular trips around the city.
Similar systems are gradually being introduced in various cities of Ukraine, however, Novovolynsk has become one of the examples where the local authorities are expanding the capabilities of electronic payment for transport. According to the mayor, this approach is intended to facilitate the transition to digital services and reduce cash payments in transport.
