Russian troops attacked the city of Dnipro using drones, reported the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military-Civil Administration, Serhiy Lysak. As a result of the strikes, there were injured citizens.

It should be noted that as a result of the attacks, fires broke out in different parts of the city, and the threat of new drone strikes remains. Doctors reported 12 injured individuals, with whom they are already working. Unfortunately, one of the casualties, who was in critical condition, died from their injuries.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, emphasized: 'Every strike by the Russians confirms our need to increase pressure and improve sanctions. Russia must be held accountable for its actions.'

Rescuers and military respond immediately

Rescuers documented the consequences of the fires in buildings, vehicles, and other objects. Meanwhile, Ukrainian military personnel detected an increase in kamikaze drones from Russia and are working to enhance measures to counter this threat.

Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Havryliuk noted that Russian drones have become more sophisticated and effective, and therefore it is important to rapidly improve defenses against them. The Ukrainian forces are working on the development of interceptor drones to counter this threat.

Fires and injuries due to Russian military drones in the city of Dnipro have heightened tensions in eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian military and rescuers are taking measures to effectively respond to this threat and protect the civilian population of the city from aggression.
