On the night of November 6, the Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions were attacked by the Russian Federation. The railway infrastructure became a victim of these attacks, reports 'Glavkom' citing 'Ukrzaliznytsia'.
According to the information provided by the press service of 'Ukrzaliznytsia', several trains had to change routes due to damaged infrastructure and experienced significant delays. The list includes the following routes:
- No. 102 Kherson – Husarivka,
- No. 104 Lviv – Husarivka,
- No. 712 Kyiv – Husarivka,
- No. 92 Odesa – Husarivka.
It is also worth noting that train No. 733 Dnipro – Kyiv now operates with a auxiliary locomotive and with a slight delay.
Delays and problems on the tracks
Due to damages on the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, delays of up to five hours occurred in the following trains:
- No. 31/32 Zaporizhzhia – Przemyśl,
- No. 119/120 Dnipro – Chełm, which also has attached carriages Pavlohrad – Kyiv,
- No. 37/38 Zaporizhzhia – Kyiv.
Additionally, certain suburban trains in Sumy and routes from Chernihiv to Kyiv are experiencing noticeable delays.
Since the beginning of November, a series of attacks on railway infrastructure in Ukraine has led to significant delays and problems in train movement in the eastern part of the country. Authorities continue to coordinate efforts to restore and ensure the safe transportation of passengers and cargo.
