The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine announced that the first family of internally displaced persons has already purchased housing under the state support program 'eOselya' within the Framework of Support for Frontline Territories.

According to the new resolution, internally displaced persons and residents of frontline regions are provided with compensation from the state for the purchase of housing, allowing them to buy an apartment under the 'eOselya' program.

'The Frontline Territory Support Program is specific assistance for residents of these regions and internally displaced persons. Today, thanks to this support, the first family that was forced to leave their home because of the war has acquired a new abode. We are working to ensure real tools for people despite all challenges and to secure them a decent future,'
- emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and the Minister for Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba.

Program Details

The state compensates 70% of the initial payment for the purchase, but not more than 30% of the housing cost. In addition, for the first 12 months, the state compensates 70% of the monthly payment, up to a total of 150 thousand hryvnias, and covers up to 40 thousand hryvnias for commissions, fees, and insurance. In 2025, 4.4 billion hryvnias are allocated in the budget for these reimbursements.

To receive compensation, a person must be internally displaced or a resident of frontline territories who does not have housing in other places, except for areas of active hostilities or temporarily occupied territories. It is also important for the person to have formal employment.

A step towards a better life: the first family of internally displaced persons has already managed to acquire new housing thanks to the state program 'eOselya' for supporting frontline territories. The program provides essential assistance to those who have lost their homes due to the war, helping them create new living and working conditions.
