FPV Strikes, Amputation, and Mine Incident: 'Khizhak' Brigade Medics Save Police Unit Fighters

Near the town of Kostiantynivka, enemy forces launched two FPV drone attacks against a neighboring police unit. One soldier sustained a severe injury resulting in a partial below-knee amputation. Medics from the 'Khizhak' brigade responded quickly by using a drone to deliver freeze-dried blood plasma directly to the wounded fighter's position. The entire operation was coordinated remotely through telemedicine, enabling rapid access to critical medical care.

Evacuation Mission and Frontline Dangers

During an evacuation effort, a CASEVAC crew hit an anti-tank mine at the entrance to Kostiantynivka. Despite the blast, the team managed to retrieve the wounded and return safely. All evacuees were handed over to doctors; their current condition is not yet known.

This incident highlights the crucial role of fast medical response in combat zones and the effectiveness of modern technology, such as drones for delivering medical supplies. Telemedicine helps cut response times and boosts survival chances for the injured. At the same time, risks for medical teams remain extreme, as shown by the mine strike on the evacuation crew—underscoring the dangerous working conditions on the front and the constant need for emergency preparedness.

In a related incident, the Safari Assault Regiment pilots faced their own challenges after an FPV drone strike, showcasing the ongoing dangers faced by military personnel in combat zones. Their efforts to rescue a wounded soldier highlight the critical need for swift medical interventions and the use of advanced technology in high-risk environments.
