Road Safety Conditions in Ukraine
As of June 28, automated enforcement systems in Ukraine have issued more than 2 million citations for speeding. In addition, patrol officers using TruCAM devices have written over 238,000 tickets for similar violations. These figures were reported by Glavkom.
Oleksiy Biloshytskyi, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, stated that the police employ a combined approach to speed monitoring. He emphasized that:
