Recently, at the car checkpoint 'Mogyliv-Podilskyi', border guards managed to detain a sly fraudster. This 26-year-old young man from Kherson region attempted to leave the country, presenting forged business trip documents. However, it was not so easy for him to deceive the checkpoint!
According to the story, the 'commissioned specialist' was supposed to go to Bulgaria for training to improve qualifications. But during the verification, the man turned out to be rather uncertain in his answers regarding the activities of the company. Eventually, he admitted that he bought the forged documents for $20,000.
The Border Guard Service explained that the man tried to cross the border by presenting reservation documents, orders of acceptance for work at a construction company, and business trip documents.
The border guards had to deny this fraudster passage, and now the police have received a report from the border guards regarding a possible violation of the law provided for in Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on Counteraction to Forgery of Documents.
As a result, the man got into trouble while trying to leave the country with forged documents. He had to stand as a witness before law enforcement.
