Russian attacks leave Sumy community without electricity: emergency outages continue

Russian attacks have led to power outages in parts of the Sumy region, reports 'Glavkom' citing the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar. Residents are asked to remain calm, and energy workers are operating at their limits to restore electricity as soon as possible. 'I ask residents to understand the situation. Energy workers are doing everything possible to bring light back to your homes as quickly as possible,' he noted.



'Sumyoblenergo' reports that at the direction of NERC 'Ukrenergo', emergency disconnection schedules have been introduced in the Sumy region, which are in effect for different groups of consumers.


On the night of October 27, the city of Konotop in the Sumy region was subjected to two enemy drone attacks by Russian forces. A full-scale war continues in the region with numerous aviation, missile strikes, and shelling affecting several districts in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.



Due to Russian attacks in the Sumy region, electricity has been disconnected, but energy workers are working at their limits to restore power to residents as quickly as possible. According to 'Sumyoblenergo', emergency disconnection schedules have been introduced in the region. Russian drones attacked the city of Konotop, and missile and aviation strikes continue in Ukraine, leading to damage in various districts of the regions.
