On Wednesday, November 5, the Russian terrorist army attacked coal enterprises in the Donetsk region. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the Ministry of Energy.
'As a result of five airstrikes with guided bombs, coal industry enterprise sites were damaged in Donetsk. The boiler house, administrative and warehouse buildings were damaged. The enterprises are currently not functioning,' the report said.
According to preliminary information, there are no dead or injured.
'Russian terror does not stop. We are negotiating with our partners to strengthen air defense and equipment for the rapid recovery of energy infrastructure,' said Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk.
Attack on the thermal power station in Slovyansk
Earlier, Russian aviation struck the thermal power station in Slovyansk, resulting in the deaths of two energy workers - Serhiy Dyachenko and Mykhailo Hryhoriev. Five more employees were injured.
Events in the Donetsk region indicate a deepening conflict in the area and a worsening situation with energy infrastructure. Attacks on coal industry enterprises and the thermal power station are pushing the authorities to enhance air defense and activate measures to restore the energy system in the conflict zone.
