In the night of November 17, there was a massive drone attack in the Odesa region carried out by Russian terrorists. The majority of the drones were focused on the city of Izmail, and explosions were also reported in Reni and Kiliya.
It is noted that currently the information about this attack is only available in local Telegram channels, no official data about the event has been reported. However, it is worth mentioning that earlier, on November 16, the terrorists also attacked civilian and energy infrastructure in the south of the region with strike drones.
«Despite the active work of the air defense, this night strike drones again damaged energy facilities, including a solar power plant», - said the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleg Kiper.
Also, a little earlier, the terrorists launched an attack on the market in Chornomorsk, resulting in at least two people killed and another seven injured. A strike drone damaged the city square, shop facades, and cars, shattering windows in the college.
In the past, drone attacks have also been recorded in other areas of the region, which, fortunately, did not result in casualties among the civilian population. The situation remains tense, and local authorities continue to monitor and respond to events.
