Russia restricted fuel exports following Ukrainian drone strikes

Russia has continued its restrictions on gasoline exports outside the country until the end of the current year. These restrictions apply to both companies that produce fuel and those that do not - all are prohibited from exporting gasoline.

New restrictions have also been imposed on diesel fuel exports, but only for non-producer companies. Enterprises that produce diesel fuel themselves can export it from Russia. An exception will be made for the supply of automotive fuel under intergovernmental agreements.

Additionally, a ban on the export of diesel fuel from the Russian Federation for non-producers will be introduced, which will be in effect until the end of the current year. The ban on gasoline exports for fuel producers has been extended until September. Novak noted that there is a 'slight shortage of oil products' in the market, but it will be covered thanks to accumulated reserves.

After Ukrainian drone strikes on oil refineries in Russia, the number of gas stations has noticeably decreased. The number of gas stations has reduced by 2.6%, or by 360 facilities since the end of July. In some regions, the problems are already more widespread.

Earlier, it was reported that the General Staff confirmed strikes on important facilities in Russia.
