The head of the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure, Serhiy Sukhomlyn, stated that Russia is currently trying to create 'dead zones' at a distance of 50-100 km from the front line, which requires the protection of more than 200 energy facilities in frontline regions.
To protect energy facilities from enemy missiles and drones, the State Agency has made changes to the legislation regarding tender procedures, which will help accelerate the procurement of necessary materials and services.
«Several days ago we received a message from Kyiv about allocating 2.1 billion UAH for the construction of protection for strategic objects. There was no money, there is no money, and most likely there will be no money in the future,» said the agency's head.
Sukhomlyn also emphasized that the work on equipping protection at the 330 kV and 750 kV substations is already 95-98% complete, which is significantly better than in 2024. All substations that have been equipped with protection from the State Agency for Restoration can withstand attacks from enemy weapons and continue normal operations.
Infrastructure substations in Ukraine have received reinforcement and protection from potential threats, which can ensure the reliability of their operation and protection from enemy attacks.
