On the night of November 17, the city of Balakliia became the target of a missile strike by the Russian terrorist army. Three people died, and ten were injured, including small children.
According to a statement by the head of the local military administration, Vitalii Karabanov, after the shelling, rescue and medical services began providing assistance to the victims. All those mentioned are receiving necessary treatment. In particular, nine people have been hospitalized, and one is receiving outpatient care.
In addition to Balakliia, air strikes by Russian troops also took place in the Kharkiv region. Explosions were recorded in the city of Izium, which led to power outages as a result of the shelling. Emergency crews are already restoring electricity in the affected areas.
Such attacks somewhat resemble last year's events when Russian invaders attacked Izium and destroyed a children’s psycho-neurological boarding school.
