Expert Ivan Timotsko stated that Russia is actively purchasing weapons from other countries, particularly from Iran and North Korea. According to him, this indicates the inability of the Russian Federation to conduct offensive operations independently.
It has been noted that North Korea acts as an intermediary between Russia and China regarding the supply of weapons and equipment. Timotsko also emphasized that involving other countries in arms supplies reflects the limited capabilities of the Russian army to operate independently.
'With the support of allies, they have reached the level they are currently demonstrating. This is the maximum level of the Russian army, the Russian economy,' - emphasized Timotsko.
It has also been noted that Russia is increasingly using foreign mercenaries in armed conflicts due to the risks of mobilizing its own population. Russian missiles, according to the expert, are not aimed at Ukraine not due to lack of technical capabilities, but for other reasons.
In July 2021, the expert reported on Russian arms purchases from other countries, indicating limited capabilities for conducting military operations independently. Russia is increasingly relying on external support and mercenaries, particularly through arms purchases from Iran and North Korea, pointing to complex internal factors that limit its ability to act independently.
