Russia has once again attacked the energy system: in which regions emergency shutdowns have been introduced

Russian terrorists have attacked the energy infrastructure of Chernihiv and Donetsk regions


The criminal activities of the Russian terrorist army have led to shelling that has created problems for the unified energy system of Ukraine. Specialists from the Ministry of Energy report that all necessary measures are being taken to restore electricity supply and ensure the stable operation of the system, reports Glavkom citing the Ministry of Energy.



Emergency shutdowns in many regions of Ukraine


As a result of the shelling initiated by Russian criminals, emergency electricity shutdowns were implemented in the morning in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, and partially in Kirovohrad regions. Also, in Chernihiv region, local energy companies implemented hourly shutdowns.



“Emergency shutdowns will be canceled after the situation in the energy system stabilizes. Follow the announcements on the websites of your regional energy suppliers. We urge consumers to use electricity wisely, especially during peak hours in the morning and evening. This will help reduce the load on the system”


Emergency electricity shutdowns have also been recorded in other regions of Ukraine, including Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Poltava, Kirovohrad, and Sumy, due to attacks. A similar situation has arisen in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions as well.



Damage from the attack on energy infrastructure


Remember that on the night of October 12, the enemy attacked energy and gas transportation infrastructure facilities, causing damage in three regions. As a result of enemy shelling, energy facilities in Donetsk, Odesa, and Chernihiv regions were damaged.


Russian terrorists have attacked the energy infrastructure of several regions of Ukraine, causing emergency electricity shutdowns. Specialists from the Ministry of Energy are working on restoring the system’s operation and urging consumers to use electricity economically.
