This morning, Russian troops launched an attack on the city of Sumy. As a result, a trolleybus was attacked, and windows in residential and non-residential buildings were damaged. A passenger and the driver received assistance at the scene, reported the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleg Grygorov.

«Windows in three 10-story buildings and several non-residential premises were also destroyed. The elimination of the consequences of the attack continues - all services are working on site,» Grygorov added.

On the night of October 7, Russian troops attacked the city of Poltava and the region. It was noted that the railway infrastructure and energy supply facilities were affected. According to Deputy Prime Minister for the Recovery of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba, a locomotive depot, energy supply distance, and traction substations in Poltava were damaged.

Attacks on Sumy and Poltava indicate the continuation of the conflict in eastern Ukraine and the escalation of the situation in the region. Attacks on civilian objects shock the local population and disrupt the peaceful way of life in the region.
