Initial reports listed 16 fatalities, but the death toll later rose to 18. The children who perished included one-year-olds Oleksandr, Kyrylo, and Serhii, as well as eight-year-old Maksym. Dozens more were wounded, including seven children. Rescue teams saved 15 individuals from the rubble, one of whom was a child, yet some people remain unaccounted for.
