Intense battles continue in the Oleksandrivsk and Huliaipilskiy directions in the Zaporizhzhia region. Occupants are storming the positions of Ukrainian troops and using artillery shelling. As a result, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had to retreat from positions near five settlements.
“In Zaporizhzhia, particularly in the Oleksandrivsk and Huliaipilskiy directions, intense battles have been going on for several days. The enemy is using all available weapons to push the Armed Forces of Ukraine from their held positions. Over the past few days, there have been up to a hundred combat encounters. Due to the intensification of enemy assault actions, numerous infiltration attempts, increased massive fire impact on our positions (over 400 artillery shellings daily using about 2,000 rounds), and the actual destruction of all shelters and fortifications, to preserve the lives of personnel, the Defense Forces had to retreat from positions near the settlements of Novouspensky, Novy, Okhotniche, Uspenivka, and Novomykolaivka.”
Ukrainian defenders are actively resisting attempts by enemy groups to seize control over the settlements. The battle continues near Yablukove, Rivnopillya, and Solodke, where there is an intense struggle for every inch of territory. The enemy seeks to encircle Huliaipole and cut off logistical routes from Pokrovsk, but the Ukrainian troops are valiantly defending their positions.
