Allied Military Action in Iran Enters New Stage
Allied military operations in Iran have entered a new phase, focusing on the destruction of infrastructure belonging to the security forces that suppress protests. The intensity of strikes has increased significantly in recent days, with attacks now continuing for a third consecutive day. The objective of these assaults is to weaken the regime to pave the way for a potential popular uprising.
Bases of Security Forces Destroyed
This operation is targeting and destroying bases used by police and protest suppression units. Among the facilities struck are state-owned sports complexes. Specifically, a 12,000-seat indoor hall within the Azadi Olympic Complex was bombed.
"For about three days now, very intense strikes have been launched against the security apparatus. These are the people who suppress protests in Iran. Bases are being destroyed that, at first glance, pose no threat to either Israel or the United States." - Maziar Mian
Mian also noted that 'there were strikes on several state sports complexes. This is precisely where these security forces were hiding. Their bases have been bombed, and they were taking shelter in the sports complexes.' He emphasized that 'while this operation to dismantle the security apparatus is ongoing, people will stay at home. But the moment will come when the Prince will announce: the time has come, go out.'
Consequently, the allied operation aims to increase pressure on the Iranian regime by demolishing the infrastructure of its security forces, which could lead to a shift in the country's political situation.
This military campaign occurs against the backdrop of long-running protests within Iran. These latest developments indicate growing international pressure on the Iranian government and a potential shift in protest dynamics toward more active public mobilization. By degrading the regime's capacity for internal repression, the allies seek to create conditions conducive to mass demonstrations that could fundamentally alter Iran's political landscape. The situation reflects a strategic effort to support internal dissent against a government long at odds with Western powers.
