Zelensky on Russian Drones in Poland: A Threat to Europe and a Joint Response

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the invasion of Russian drones in Poland on the night of September 10. According to him, Poland is providing more information about this incident, and it is currently known about 8 Russian drones.



“But now we are recording a significantly larger scale and purposefulness,' - emphasized the president.


Zelensky also stated Ukraine's readiness to provide Poland with the necessary assistance and build a warning and protection system. He stressed that Russian aggression poses a threat to every independent country, and only joint actions of partners can ensure security.



Use of Combat Aviation and a Joint Air Defense System


Zelensky highlighted the use of combat aviation from several European countries to shoot down Russian drones as an important precedent. He called for the formation of a joint air defense system for reliable protection against Russian challenges.



According to recent data, Ukrainian forces have destroyed over 380 Russian drones, including 'Shaheds'. Zelensky called for expanding cooperation with partners to protect the skies and noted the importance of real joint actions to ensure the security of neighbors.
