New deferment rules: why the TCC no longer accepts applications

Нові правила відстрочки: чому призовні комісії змінили підходи до прийому заявок.

Ukrainians have been informed why the TCC does not accept deferment applications. According to Oleg Berestovyi, head of the Main Department of Information Technologies, the new procedure for processing deferments involves automatic extensions for most citizens without their participation.

Berestovyi explained that this new system concerns over 700,000 Ukrainians. If a person's data is already in state databases, they do not need to do anything – everything happens automatically.

To submit a request, one can use the mobile application 'Reserve+' or personally visit the administrative services center in case of lack of access to digital technologies.

'We are relieving the TCC so they can conduct mobilization measures more effectively; this is a priority for the army,' added Berestovyi.

As of the beginning of November, new rules for processing deferments from mobilization have come into effect. This reform aims at digitizing the process, reducing bureaucracy, and avoiding corruption risks. The main advantage is that deferments are automatically extended for those whose data is already in the system, freeing citizens from unnecessary worries.
