Ukrainians who receive a pension for years of service must now choose between a pension and a salary, as restrictions have been introduced for this category of citizens. According to the new law, such pensioners can receive pension payments only if they work in positions that do not grant the right to a privileged pension. If they continue to work in the same field where they earned their years of service pension, they will have to choose between receiving a pension or a salary.
As reported by 'Khvylya', this is mentioned in a new video on the YouTube channel 'Narodna Dumka'.
Pensioners were also reminded of their duty to inform the Pension Fund about the fact of employment or dismissal within 10 days to avoid overpayment of pension funds. Future restrictions may also affect the category of prosecutors, who according to the bill will also have to choose between a pension and a salary.
These innovations are regulated by Ukrainian legislation and aim to avoid injustices and optimize social payments for pensioners.
