The program was presented during a meeting of the Steering Committee, which coordinates its implementation, by the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
According to Kuleba, cooperation between the two countries has already yielded results in the reconstruction of Mykolaiv, and now this experience is being expanded across the country. Kuleba is confident that in the next three years, millions of Ukrainians will feel positive changes – from stable water and heating supply to new opportunities for community development.
The program allocates about 60% of the budget to Mykolaiv and the region, while the remaining 40% goes to other affected regions of Ukraine. This includes the restoration of hospitals and schools, modernization of energy networks, water supply systems, and support for internally displaced persons in communities. The program is also aimed at supporting democratic processes, government transparency, and active participation of civil society in the recovery. Kuleba expressed gratitude to the Danish government for its solidarity and willingness to support Ukraine in a difficult time.
