Weather in Ukraine: gusty winds and rains in the Right Bank


On October 24, gusty winds of 15-20 m/s are expected in the Right Bank of Ukraine, up to 25 m/s in the highlands of the Carpathians, with significant rain in Transcarpathia and the Carpathians. The first level of danger has been declared, yellow. This is reported by

citing the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.


Meteorologists warn that the weather conditions may lead to complications in the operation of energy, communal, and construction enterprises, as well as transport movement.



Forecast for Kyiv


Also, on October 24, gusty winds of 15-20 m/s are expected in Kyiv (first level of danger, yellow). According to meteorologists' forecasts, it will be cloudy in the capital tomorrow, with no precipitation, and rain in the evening. The wind will be southeast at 7-12 m/s. The temperature at night will be 8-10°, during the day it will be 13-15°.



Recall that countries in Western Europe are preparing for a powerful and fleeting storm, which meteorologists have dubbed

"bomb cyclone"
or
"meteor bomb"
. This dangerous meteorological phenomenon, which occurs due to a rapid decrease in atmospheric pressure, poses a threat of fierce winds, heavy downpours, and significant transport problems on the continent.


This week, variable and unstable autumn weather will persist in Ukraine. At the beginning of the week, a drop in temperature and precipitation in the form of rain and wet snow is expected, especially in the west and north, with nighttime frosts in some regions. Closer to the weekend, temperatures will rise slightly, especially in the South.
