Ukraine's Postal Service Reveals New Logo
Ukraine's national postal service, Ukrposhta, has launched a new logo, created by the Ukrainian design team Spiilka Design Büro at a cost of nearly 640,000 hryvnias. The reveal coincided with the company's 32nd anniversary. The new branding will be gradually rolled out across Ukrposhta's digital and physical channels, while the old logo will remain on existing materials for the time being. This rebranding is part of a wider modernization drive within Ukraine's state-owned enterprises.
The 2026 rebrand is a component of a major internal transformation at the company. As part of this overhaul, Ukrposhta has automated its sorting lines, achieving a 95-98% on-time delivery rate. The company has also launched an updated mobile app, Ukrposhta 2.0, is expanding its network of parcel lockers, and is renewing its vehicle fleet.
Tender for a Full Brand Identity Guide
In addition to the new logo, Ukrposhta has announced a tender for the development of a comprehensive brand book, with a budget of 1.25 million hryvnias. The tender was announced on June 16, 2025, and the final order is expected by the end of the year, with a six-month execution period. Five bidders participated in the tender process.
- The lowest bid of 599.5 thousand hryvnias was submitted by Tabasco Worldwide LLC.
- Entrepreneur Maria Omelchuk proposed a price 50 thousand hryvnias higher.
- Ukrposhta rejected both applicants due to the identification of confidential information in their proposals.
The tender committee's decision is currently pending for a third participant, entrepreneur Anastasia Zherebetska, who is a co-founder of the Spiilka design bureau. The brand book to be developed must include four key sections:
- Guidelines for logo usage;
- Design of corporate identity elements, such as envelopes, letterheads, business cards, and other materials;
- Templates for outdoor and online advertising;
- Principles for designing signage and awnings.
Spiilka Design Büro, the firm behind the new logo, has prior experience working with brands like Planeta Kino, Megogo, Uklon, and Nova Poshta. Tabasco Worldwide LLC has previously provided advertising services for Vodafone, Allo, Crédit Agricole, and others, while Maria Omelchuk is a co-owner of the branding agency Galagan, known for collaborations with Toyota, Lexus, Ukrzaliznytsia, and other major companies.
The changes to Ukrposhta's branding underscore its commitment to innovation and improving customer service in a competitive modern market.
The logo update and the development of a full brand guide highlight the importance of visual identity in communicating with customers and partners. These steps are likely intended to help the company strengthen its market position and adapt to new challenges in the delivery and logistics sector.
