The government postponed POS terminals for individual entrepreneurs: new rules during the war

Нові правила для підприємців: відтермінування впровадження POS-терміналів під час війни.

Postponement of compulsory installation of POS terminals

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to postpone the compulsory installation of POS terminals for individual entrepreneurs (IEs) of the first group. This decision will be in effect during martial law and for three months after it is lifted. Thus, the government is easing the requirements for cashless payments in the country.

This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, on her Facebook page.

She confirmed that the new rules regarding the installation of POS terminals for IEs will come into effect soon, aimed at supporting small businesses during martial law.

According to the new requirements, first-group entrepreneurs are not required to install POS terminals until the military actions are over, allowing them to focus on recovery and business development in challenging economic conditions.

The importance of the decision for small businesses

This decision is an important step to support small businesses in Ukraine, which have suffered significant losses due to the war and economic instability. The postponement of the requirements regarding POS terminals may relieve the financial burden on entrepreneurs, allowing them to focus on growth and adapting their businesses to new conditions.

Such changes may contribute to improving the economic situation in the country, especially amid ongoing conflict.
