On the night of July 31, Russian occupiers carried out a massive drone strike on Kyiv.
According to the chief of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenco, there were more than ten locations that were damaged by the enemy's attack.
The enemy used strike drones against civilian infrastructure. The Solomianskyi district of the capital suffered the most.
There have been recorded:
- a fire in a high-rise building
- a fire near a residential building
- fire in a school
- ignition of warehouses and several non-residential premises at various addresses
- explosion of drone parts in two locations - near a house and on a car
So far, it is known that as a result of the drone attack, six people were injured.
According to the State Emergency Service, debris from one of the drones fell near a garage cooperative and caused a gas pipe to ignite in a three-story residential building. Several people were trapped in garages but were quickly evacuated by rescuers.
Other drone debris hit a residential building in another part of the district, provoking a fire in an apartment and damaging several cars in the courtyard of the high-rise building. Four injured people were handed over to medical staff. The fire has been extinguished.
There was also a report of drone debris hitting an educational institution in the capital. In addition, damage was caused to the roof of a five-story building, a warehouse building, and another car was set on fire.
