President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine is actively cooperating with international partners through the Foreign Intelligence Service to prevent Russia's use of the 'shadow fleet' for destabilizing the situation in Europe. According to Zelensky, Russian tankers can be used not only to make money from the war but also for reconnaissance and subversive actions.
'We provide all necessary information to our partners and expect that resistance to Russian interference will be significantly stronger. It is absolutely possible to stop this,' Zelensky noted.
The head of the SBU, Oleksandr Ivashchenko, also reported on changes in Russia's disinformation tactics and emphasized the need for effective work on sanctions against Russian activities. Special attention is paid to schemes for circumventing sanctions and plans to close them.
Zelensky instructed the head of foreign intelligence to work with partners on supplying Ukraine with more real weapons and equipment to strengthen the country's defense capabilities.
