Zelensky in Zaporizhzhia: discussions on drones and awarding defenders

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the soldiers of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade from Zakarpattia, who are currently defending the area of Stepnohirs'k in Zaporizhzhia. This information was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, citing the portal 'Hlavkom'.


The brigade commander, Ihor Burdeinyi, informed the president about the combat events and attempts by the enemy to outflank Ukrainian defense positions. He also emphasized the activation of assault actions by the occupiers in this region.


Zelensky discussed with the military command the issue of purchasing drones with the brigade's own funds, as well as the use of 'Vampir' drones. All urgent issues will be carefully considered and resolved.


President Zelensky stated: 'I want to honor you and express gratitude for protecting the state, our territorial integrity, and mutual support. Take care of yourselves. Thank you for bringing our victory closer. I wish everyone victory and just peace for all.'

There was also a meeting between the president and the soldiers of the 65th separate mechanized brigade 'Velykyi Luh', which is defending the Orekhiv direction. During the meeting, they were awarded state honors.
