The National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Public Utilities plans to approve new tariffs for electricity distribution system operators at a meeting on Tuesday, August 26. The changes will affect 18 regional energy companies and will involve a tariff increase starting from September 1.
According to information from the industry publication ExPro, for first-class voltage consumers, the increase will average 14%, while for the second class, it will be 23%. The biggest increase is expected to affect the clients of the regional energy companies 'Rivneoblenergo', 'Kirovogradoblenergo', and 'Khmelnytskoblenergo'.
Additionally, the NEURC announced a review of tariffs for operators working in the front-line regions. Starting in October, this will apply to 'Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo', 'Mykolaivoblenergo', 'Sumyoblenergo', 'Kharkivoblenergo', and PEEM CEC. The corresponding draft resolutions are also planned to be agreed upon at the meeting on August 26.
Furthermore, in connection with these changes, it should be noted that Naftogaz will tighten requirements for consumers, and in the case of a gas debt of 50 hryvnias, the supply may be suspended.
