Launch of a New Initiative

According to Главком: Andriy Yermak has founded and now leads a new civic organization named 'Justice for Ukraine International Human Rights Organization.' The entity was established on April 7, 2026, and is registered at 18-A Mykhaila Boichuka Street in Kyiv. Several other companies are also registered at this address, including Garnet International Media Group LLC, which is owned by Yermak's brothers, Andriy and Denys. The contact phone number listed for the new organization matches the one Yermak uses for his legal practice.

Legal Practice and Social Engagement

Yermak resumed his work as a lawyer on January 23, 2026, and also heads a committee within the National Bar Association of Ukraine. On April 3, 2026, he reported on social media about his work on the front lines, where he collaborated with three brigades of Ukraine's Defense Forces in a combat zone as part of the 'Lawyer+' project.

Prior to founding this organization, Yermak was dismissed from his role as Head of the Presidential Office on November 28, 2025. Following his dismissal, he announced his intention to go to the front. It is notable that Yermak has remained in Ukraine since February 2022, actively engaged in human rights advocacy and supporting Ukrainian military personnel. His new venture is seen as a continuation of this commitment, leveraging his unique blend of high-level government experience and recent frontline legal work.

The creation of this civic organization suggests Yermak's intent to remain actively involved in human rights work after his tenure in the Presidential Office. Given his recent experience on the front lines and the resumption of his legal practice, the new body could serve as a platform for advocating human rights in Ukraine, particularly within the context of the ongoing conflict. This move may also shape his future public and political standing, considering his previous roles and activism on critical social issues.

As Yermak embarks on this new chapter with his human rights organization, it's worth noting his recent financial disclosure, revealing an income of 1.27 million UAH and substantial funds in his accounts. This transparency may further bolster his credibility in advocating for human rights in Ukraine. For more insights into his financial background, read about Yermak's asset disclosures.
