Japan will transfer 66 units of equipment to Ukraine: how excavators and modular units will be used

Japan's assistance to Ukraine

According to ХВИЛЯ: Japan will transfer 66 units of specialized equipment and machinery to Ukraine, which will be an important contribution to the restoration of Ukrainian infrastructure, especially for frontline communities. This assistance is divided into three main areas:

• logistics
• public services
• education

In particular, within the framework of this initiative, Ukraine will receive 20 modular units from 'Ukrposhta', which are designed to improve delivery processes and provide the population with necessary services. In addition, the transfer of 40 units of heavy machinery is planned, including excavators and specialized vehicles that will aid in the restoration of infrastructure.

Also, for the training center in Bila Tserkva, the transfer of a modern simulator for heavy machinery operators and five real construction machines is planned. Purchases will be carried out by the Japanese side, and it is expected that the equipment will arrive in Ukraine within the next six months.

Oleksiy Kuleba, a representative of the Ukrainian authorities, noted: 'Japan remains one of our key strategic partners'.

This initiative from Japan highlights the importance of international support for Ukraine in conditions when the country faces numerous challenges related to the restoration of infrastructure after the conflict. The transfer of equipment and machinery will not only contribute to improving the material and technical base but will also aid in training new specialists in the construction field, which is critically important for the long-term development of the country.
