This event took place against the backdrop of other attacks that have occurred in recent months. For example, on the night of December 4, powerful explosions were recorded in the Oryol region and the Stavropol Territory. In Nevinnomyssk, there was a threat to the chemical plant 'Azot', while in the city of Oryol there were at least 10 explosions, and in Nevinnomyssk there were at least 6.

Additionally, on the night of November 2, there was also a drone attack in the Krasnodar Territory, during which explosions were heard in Tuapse, Lazarevskoye, and near the port of Temryuk. It is known that drones hit 'Berth 1 of the Tuapse Oil Terminal', and the sea port of Temryuk was also attacked. The capacity of the oil products transshipment terminal in Temryuk is more than 2 million tons per year.
