Drone Attack on Dnipro
According to Главком: In the early hours of March 10, the city of Dnipro was targeted in a drone assault, resulting in damage to a multi-story residential building and a bank. The attack ignited a fire, and preliminary reports indicate ten people were injured. Emergency medical services are providing necessary aid to the victims. Notably, the downed drone crashed just 10 meters from the private home of Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov, who commented on the incident:
"The downed Shahed drone fell just 10 meters from my private house. Not 100, not 500, not somewhere on the horizon. Ten meters. The situation here was saved by an ordinary, thick retaining wall." - Borys Filatov
This incident marks the third such attack in recent weeks. Previously, on the night of February 28, Dnipro was also hit by drones, causing a series of explosions and a fire in one district, though no casualties were reported. Furthermore, another attack on the night of February 17 led to a fire and damage to an administrative building and several vehicles.
Situation in Dnipro
The situation in Dnipro remains tense, as the city has endured multiple drone attacks. Dnipro, a major industrial hub in central Ukraine, has been a frequent target for strikes since the full-scale invasion began. Local residents are forced to live under the constant threat of attack, which significantly impacts their psychological well-being. Authorities and medical personnel are doing everything possible to assist those affected, but security in the region remains a critical priority, with residents hoping for a stabilization of the situation in the near future.
