According to Главком: A Russian military attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region on January 21 resulted in civilian casualties and significant damage to buildings. The shelling, which occurred overnight, killed two people: a 77-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman. A 53-year-old woman was hospitalized in moderate condition.
The attack caused damage to:
- nine private houses;
- five apartment buildings;
- an administrative building;
- automobiles.
Fires broke out, damaging three private residences. Oleksandr Ganzha noted that in the Synelnykove district, the enemy struck with an unmanned aerial vehicle, affecting the Vasylkivska and Rozdorska communities. This region is a frequent target due to its proximity to the front lines and strategic infrastructure.
Situation in Zaporizhzhia
Simultaneously, in Zaporizhzhia, a strike hit a residential area, also causing destruction and civilian casualties.
This assault is part of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which continues to claim the lives of civilians and inflict severe damage on infrastructure. The government and local authorities are working to respond to the consequences of the shelling, but the situation remains difficult due to constant threats from the aggressor. Continued international support for Ukraine is crucial, given the growing need for humanitarian aid and the reconstruction of affected territories.
