Shahed-136 dropped shrapnel combat elements during a night attack on Kharkiv region

According to glavcom.ua: As a result of the night attack by Russian troops on one of the sites in Kharkiv region, an enemy drone type 'Shahed-136' dropped many shrapnel combat elements on the target. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the Interregional Center for Humanitarian De-mining.

The work to eliminate these shrapnel combat elements became complicated due to their property of detonating some time after being dropped: they start to explode 2-6 hours after falling, and the last element may go off after 20 hours.

Reconnaissance and destruction of combat elements was carried out using drones

During the dangerous operations, sapper teams used drones (UAVs) for reconnaissance and detection of all scattered shrapnel combat elements. During this reconnaissance, it was also possible to find a second unexploded combat part, which was later destroyed.

We remind you that on the night of July 5, 2025, Russian occupiers carried out a massive attack with drones on the city of Chuguev in the Kharkiv region. This attack resulted in injuries to 11 people, including two children.

The events described in the news raise concerns about the safety of the population and require decisive measures to prevent similar cases in the future.
