Russian Attack on Khmelnytskyi Region: Three Injured, Zelensky Calls for Strong Response
Escalation of Conflict in Khmelnytskyi: Three People Injured
According to glavcom.ua: The Russian attack on Khmelnytskyi region on the night of September 10 resulted in injuries to three people. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Tyurin, according to 'Glavcom'.
Tyurin stated that as a result of the attack, three people were injured. Two of them sustained minor injuries, while one person has a shrapnel wound to the neck. The injured person has been hospitalized in the intensive care unit, where they are receiving medical assistance.
Destruction and Damage to Infrastructure
The attack also led to destruction and damage to civilian infrastructure. Debris damaged windows and doors of residential buildings, as well as a gas station, vehicles, and a sewing factory.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his condolences to those affected by the shelling and noted that 15 regions of Ukraine were under attack as a result of the strike.
The sanctions pause has lasted too long. Delaying restrictions against Russia and its accomplices only leads to an increase in the brutality of strikes. We need enough weapons to deter Russia. A strong response is required, and it can only be a joint response from all partners: Ukraine, Poland, all Europeans, the United States.
We remind that on the night, Russian invaders again attacked Ukraine, also striking the territory of Poland. Ukrainian forces reported a massive drone attack attempting to reach the territory of the neighboring country.
Attack on Poland: Details
According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the early hours of the night, drones headed towards the Polish city of Zamość, which is located 60 km from the border. This populated area is considered a strategically important transportation hub.
The Ukrainian army sustained losses as a result of the attack in Khmelnytskyi, where three people were injured and civilian infrastructure was damaged. The continuing aggression from Russia and its accomplices raises significant concern, and the prospect of a joint response from Ukraine, Poland, Europe, and the USA complicates the situation.
