Sumy Region in 24 hours: 187 shellings, casualties and injuries among civilians

According to glavcom.ua: The situation in Sumy region remains critical. Russian troops carried out 187 shellings in 36 settlements across 18 territorial communities over the past few days. The air raid alert lasted for more than 23 hours. This information was released by the Sumy Regional Military Administration through 'Glavkom'.

As a result of these shellings, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population.

It is reported that two men have been killed and 11 people injured, including three children.

• In Shostka, a 71-year-old man died, with 6 adults and 3 children injured.
• In Seredyna-Buda, a 63-year-old man died from a drone strike, while another man was injured.
• In Krasnopillia, an 88-year-old man was injured.

Attacks on the civilian population

The enemy actively used various means of destruction in Sumy, Shostka, and Konotop districts, including KABs, unmanned aerial vehicles, flamethrowers, FPV drones, and multiple launch rocket systems.

The shellings caused damage and destruction to civilian infrastructure in several communities in Sumy region.
