Trump called on the EU to strengthen sanctions against the RF: main statements of the former US president
According to glavcom.ua: On the night of September 15, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia, reported the head of the Zaporizhzhia Operational Command Ivan Fedorov. Due to this attack, electricity supply was cut off in one of the villages of the Zaporizhzhia district, and there were also fires in private homes. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the fires were localized after three enemy strikes.
US President Donald Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the sanctions imposed by the European Union against Russia, calling them insufficiently strict. Trump urged European countries to unite and join his initiative to strengthen restrictions. At the same time, Trump noted that achieving this goal would only be possible with the support of European partners.
Senator Lindsey Graham called on European countries to support Trump's initiative regarding sanctions against countries buying Russian oil. He believes that such a step will encourage Beijing and Delhi to change their position regarding the purchase of Russian oil, which in turn will contribute to ending the war in Ukraine.
