A Bentley Once Owned by Giorgio Armani Heads to Auction with a €90,000 Estimate
RM Sotheby's Monaco Auction
According to Главком: RM Sotheby's has announced a sale in Monaco featuring a 1996 Bentley Brooklands sedan. This car is distinguished by its first owner, the legendary fashion designer Giorgio Armani. The auction is scheduled for April 25, 2026, with the vehicle expected to fetch up to €90,000.
Vehicle Specifications
The Bentley Brooklands sedan features a blue exterior and a striking interior trimmed in parchment leather with burr walnut wood accents. Modern amenities for its era include:
- Dual-zone climate control
- Electrically operated and heated seats
This model is part of a limited series; only 1,343 first-generation Bentley Brooklands cars were produced between 1993 and 1997. Such limited production runs are a key factor in classic car valuation.
Giorgio Armani purchased the car from a Rome dealer in March 1996 but sold it just six months later, in September of the same year. The current owner, a Rome resident, has preserved the car's documentation and its original Italian license plates, AG138SE.
Alongside the Bentley, the auction will also feature a unique 1997 McLaren supercar, notable for its victory at the Silverstone circuit in 1997. This event promises to be a significant gathering for collectors and automotive enthusiasts.

The car's provenance, linked to fashion icon Giorgio Armani, adds considerable value and intrigue to the lot. This auction is anticipated to be a major event for collectors seeking vehicles with both mechanical pedigree and a compelling personal story.
