According to hvylya.net: Hot news from the Verkhovna Rada - the bill on appointment to public office may introduce radical changes. Now men up to 60 years old can only hold a position after complete military service. The Committee on National Security has already recommended adopting this bill.

The new requirements for civil servants are very serious. They must complete full military service, not just basic military training. Exceptions are made only for individuals unfit for service due to health reasons. These rules also apply to candidates for prosecutor positions, including women.

The further bill proposes to replace basic military training with training for national resistance. The new system involves collaboration with various educational institutions and the creation of special training centers. However, experts express outrage, pointing out that such initiatives may significantly limit the number of potential candidates for jobs in public institutions.

The bill on appointment to public office could radically change the requirements for candidates for positions. The new rules may complicate the search for qualified employees and exacerbate the shortage of personnel in public institutions.
